On 6 February 2026, we received a call from the Ministry of Tourism MM2H One Stop Centre informing us that our company, Alter Domus (MM2H) Sdn. Bhd., was among the top five sponsors for the new MM2H programme for the year 2025. Although we were not told our exact ranking at that time, we were truly delighted. All our hard work since COVID has paid off.

An appreciation dinner was held at Sunway Resort on 13 February, four days before Chinese New Year. During the dinner, we were informed that Alter Domus (MM2H) Sdn. Bhd. was ranked third.

We would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere gratitude to our clients who have entrusted us with their MM2H applications, and to our dedicated staff who made this achievement possible.

The other four companies primarily focus on China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and other Asian markets. This is significantly different from our company’s focus. As of February 2026, there are more than 240 registered agencies under the new MM2H programme, of which approximately 170 are active. Only a handful of companies focus on western developed countries, and none of them are on the list above. Therefore, we are the oldest and the largest MM2H sponsor for western developed countries.

We have a substantial client base from the legacy pre-2020 MM2H programme, numbering in the thousands. Since 2004, as we did not have official data, we have always stated, “We are probably the largest MM2H sponsor for western developed countries.” I believe we can now confidently remove the word “probably.”

Approximately 12% of our clients are from Singapore (which we consider a western developed country), 10% are from China and Taiwan, and another 10% are from the rest of Asia (Indonesia, Hong Kong, Myanmar, Japan, etc.). The remaining 70% are from Europe, the Americas, and Australia/New Zealand. We have a dedicated team of staff who can speak, read and write Chinese, as we continue to serve clients from Chinese-speaking countries. We do not conduct roadshows in China or Taiwan to promote MM2H or property projects, as our clients mainly come through the internet and referrals from existing clients.

Alter Domus (MM2H) Sdn. Bhd. sponsors only the MM2H visa and does not handle student visas, education, PVIP, medical or real estate services. With a laser-sharp focus on MM2H and customer service, we are the only company with branches—known as MM2H Centres of Excellence—in Kuala Lumpur and Johor Bahru to better serve our clients. Our headquarters in Penang is housed in a three-storey commercial building, and we have approximately thirty employees.

We began in 2004 and have focused on western developed countries ever since. Our strength lies in our proficiency in English, and we have consistently delivered excellent customer service. It is indeed rare for a company to grow steadily and successfully for more than twenty years.

Alter Domus (MM2H) Sdn. Bhd. was proud to hold the first MM2H licence number, MM2H/001, issued in 2006, and MM2H/810, issued during the relicensing exercise in 2024. We were the first legacy MM2H sponsor to be granted this new licence. Of the first twenty MM2H companies established in 2006, only three remain in business today, and we are one of them. We are the only one that has grown by leaps and bounds.
