About Us

Our company "Alter Domus" means "Second Home" in Latin. It is a relocation consultancy firm based on the island of Penang. Penang is situated on the northwestern part of Peninsular Malaysia. We handle immigration matters and specializes in Malaysia My Second Home (MM2H). Alter Domus is an official sponsor for MM2H and we are licensed by the Ministry of Tourism. Being efficient in all work, we obtained the very first license and we are very proud to bear the license number MM2H-0001. We are probably the largest sponsor in Penang and we have been operating formally since 2005 and informally since 2001.

We are PASSIONATE about our work. It is the passion that makes us who we are today. Our present approval rate is about 99.8%. (out of hundreds of clients)

We promote MM2H aggressively and we are working very closely with the Ministry Of Tourism and Penang Tourism Action Council to promote Penang and MM2H overseas. It's possible to do MM2H unaided. Don't even think about it, when Alter Domus is there to help. Roselind Moey is the managing partner and resident consultant for Alter Domus. She is a relocation specialist who will help you with your relocation. Prior to becoming a relocation specialist, she was a Company Secretary for a public listed firm in Penang. She has the professional qualification from ICSA (Institute Chartered Secretaries and Administrators), United Kingdom. She is still an Associate Member of MAICSA (Malaysian Association of Institute Chartered Secretaries and Administrators) and has been a company secretary since 1997. She was with PricewaterhouseCoopers Singapore from 1997-2000 before returning to her hometown in Penang. She has experience in negotiating with people and handling the needs of foreigners. Roselind Moey is aided by 2 consultants who are focused on Immigration matters, research on relocation resources and general assistance in relocation.

Ch’ng Toh Ghee is the administrative and marketing research advisor who helps in getting information for our client. He is in charged of finding ways to promote MM2H for Alter Domus as well as ensuring that the necessary paperwork is obtained from our clients.

Moey Kok Hee is a retired Immigration office who will ensure that the paperwork is done correctly. He is responsible in making sure that all the paperwork is done up properly before submitting to the authorities for approval.

We focus on customer satisfaction and most of our clients are referrals from existing clients. Without good services, referrals is not possible. A very large majority of our clients are professionals (managers, VPs, businessperson, doctors, bankers, engineers etc)
